Over 1200 motorcycles from all over Iowa joined together to "Ride for the Cure." Participants met in Newton for lunch, and enjoyed laps around the race track. Participants ended the day long event with a night cap at the Val Air Ballroom where a silent auction was held. All money raised goes to benefit Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Research. Big Barn Harley-Davidson & The Globe of Death entertained hundreds over 3 days. Employee night was held on Thursday, followed by VIP night on Friday, and Saturday's entertainment was open to the public. Winners of the "Around the World" ride were announced. In addition, the winner of the bike raffle to benefit Childrens and Families of Iowa was announced.

Big Barn Harley-Davidson attended the 2008 Iowa State Fair. Did you stop by our booth to pick up a custom designed state fair t-shirt? Congratulations to the "Sweatin' Big Ones" Outhouse race team. The team took home a trophy for best costume.

Hundreds of people attended the Summer Celebration on July 19th, 2008. Free Lunch was served from 11-2. Games were played from 11-3. A free poker run was held from 9-1. Many great prizes were given away. Bands played from 3-10pm. Don't forget to join us next year!

Special thanks go out to VFW Post #9127, VFW Post #738, and the American Legion Riders for joining us to celebrate Flag Day 2008. Barbeque dinner provided by Jethro's BBQ. Participants also enjoyed a ride to the patriotic rock in Greenfield.

The race is on to earn points for the Around the World Ride. Ride runs May 10th through September 3rd. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 riders with the most points earned. Stop by the Barn and Pick up your passport to join in the fun!

CMA was on hand to bless riders and their bikes for the 2008 season. Al and the Enforcers rocked the crowd, and the chili was awsome! Many generous bikers rolled up their sleeves and donated blood to The Blood Center of Iowa.
